Since its inception 1998, llan Waisbrod's Studio Gaia has bought in a fresh perspective and innovative language in the hospitality industry that goes beyond the ordinary and explores the senses. And, it all began with signature New York City restaurant landmarks - Republic, Cafeteria and Bond Street.

Today, the celebrity-architect to stars like Michael Jordan and Jay-Z has guided his firm to build some of the globes hottest restaurants. Most notably, Tao at the Venetian, that isn’t just the highest-grossing restaurant in America, but also its most profitable.

Over the years, llan has guided the interior designs of W Hotels in Latin America and Asia Pacific and pushing the envelope of the brand standard to an unprecedented level. Today, the studio’s diverse portfolio includes projects for prestigious brands like Waldorf Astoria, Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, MGM Grand, Sheraton, Andaz, Thompson Hotels and more, exceling at interpreting and enhancing each brand's unique standards across various international projects.
