The project focused on restoring historic elements while creating a sleek, modern environment for city living. A complete gut renovation removed mezzanine spaces and established a new layout. The loft's original floor-to-ceiling wood arched windows were restored, emphasising the 13-foot ceilings and stunning street views.
The design contrasts old and new with Swedish beech wood floors, marble countertops, and a striking 10-foot fireplace. Custom pocket doors enhance flow, while new lighting coves provide ambient illumination. In the expansive 33' x 33' main living area, natural light floods through the impressive windows, showcasing the blend of modern finishes and celebrated 19th-century architecture to create a unique and inviting living space.
