The design for LILAK embodies the democratization of design, offering affordable luxury that integrates high quality, aesthetics, and performance. Utilising new technologies and smart solutions, the building caters to contemporary sensibilities.

The facade’s colour story is inspired by the lilac bush native to New York, featuring a pixelated pattern in shades of purple, lilac, silver, and gold. This design employs lightweight square panels arranged in a grid.

Within this grid, uniquely shaped windows include abstracted Hebrew letters that spell "life" and "love," resonating deeply with the diverse local cultures of Inwood, including Irish, Spanish, and Dominican communities. This thoughtful integration of pattern, geometry, light, and colour fosters a sense of well-being for its inhabitants.
