DIATOM is a 100% aluminum vertical stacking chair designed for Moroso, inspired by the natural lightweight structures observed by architects and marine biologists. Through several developmental iterations, the chair has been optimised for contemporary aluminum pressing technology, with its origins in the automotive industry. The computer-generated design features universal geometry, making it ergonomically neutral and lightweight, achieving a rare vertical stack.
