DHD designed the Sullivan Street Residence in a new Greenwich Village condo, requiring only minor cosmetic updates to enhance the interior. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the space with natural light and offering stunning views of the bustling neighbourhood. Two terraces facing East and South further enhance the home's appeal.
Given the owners' love for dining out, DHD transformed an ancillary space off the kitchen into a cozy dining nook. This allowed David and his team to create two seating areas in the main living space, perfect for entertaining. The living room's bright ambiance enabled the use of a bold colour palette with umber accents and black metal elements.
The powder bathroom features expressive wallpaper and a black leather studded mirror for an unexpected touch. In the master bedroom, deep blues and purples are complemented by custom silver-grey textured wallpaper.
The master bathroom’s water closet is a standout, adorned with whimsical Fornasetti wallpaper and a black marble stool. Despite the masculine color scheme, the soft materials, silk rugs, and window treatments create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the apartment.
