The brief focused on increasing natural daylight and reconfiguring the layout for a functional and beautiful home. The house was gutted to create open-plan living areas and rooms flooded with light.
Ruta’s material palette features timbers and Silestone, applied differently throughout the house. In the kitchen and bathroom, they used a full gloss finish, while the staircase was treated with a sandblasted finish for slip resistance. This cohesive design lightened the spaces and created a unified feel throughout the home.
